Your way to Zanzibar

We run two hotels in Zanzibar. One on a clifftop in Jambiani, with ocean views that stop you mid-sentence. One in a quiet fishing village on the northeast coast, wrapped in tropical gardens and designed around wellness. Both are ours, and we love them equally.

Why book direct with us

We’re a small team who built these hotels because we love Zanzibar and we love looking after people. When you book directly with us, you get the best rates, you talk to people who actually know the properties, and we can make sure everything is right before you arrive. We’ll help with airport transfers, dietary needs, special occasions, and anything else you need. A real person answers every email.

Welcome to Zanzibar

The island that changes how you travel

Zanzibar moves at its own pace. The tides shape the day, the food is fresh from the ocean and the garden, and the warmth of the people is the first thing you notice and the last thing you forget. We chose this island for a reason, and we built two very different hotels to share two very different sides of it.

Kaskazi Zanzibar

32 rooms on a cliff in Jambiani. You’ll just know.

The kind of place you arrive at and just know is right. Ocean-facing pool, a rooftop bar where the sundowners are as good as the view, and a restaurant that changes daily. The rooms are beautiful, the staff remember your name, and the whole thing feels like your best friend’s incredible place by the ocean.

  • The pool and the view — Ocean-facing, all day, with the restaurant right there beside it.
  • The restaurant — Fresh catch, local spice, and a chef who genuinely cares.
  • The rooftop bar — Cocktails at golden hour. A very good reason to stay up.
  • The feeling — Warm, vibrant, and genuinely easy to be in.
Tamu Tamu Zanzibar

10 rooms in a fishing village. Wellness that actually feels like rest.

Tamu means sweet in Swahili, and this is the sweetest place we know. A purpose-built wellness retreat in the quiet fishing village of Pwani Mchangani. Lush tropical gardens, two pools, a rooftop yoga deck, and a kitchen that thinks vegetables are the main event. The beach is 30 seconds away, but the real draw is how you feel inside the garden.

  • Nourishing food — Vegetarian foundation, with keto, high-protein, or any dietary layer.
  • Movement spaces — Rooftop yoga deck, outdoor gym, and the quiet to use them.
  • Retreat ready — Full-hotel buyout for groups of up to 20.
  • The pace — Slow, green, and genuinely restorative.
