 The location right next to Pwani Mchangani on the eastern coast was perfect - super quiet with not too many tourists and a nice village with a few restaurants nearby. We really preferred it to hectic Stone Town and touristy Nungwi Beach for example. The rooms were beautiful and clean, we really appreciated the attention room service put into making sure everything was neat when we got back from a daytrip. The pool area was beautiful too, we could have easily spent a whole week just lounging there.

So many things to like! From the cute kittens, to the friendly staff, the helpful manager, the clean and well equipped apartments...Definitely our highlight in Zanzibar, we missed it dearly once we switched places.

Beautiful and clean rooms with amazing views, the garden was amazing with so many cozy corners which you can relax under the shade of palm trees.

There were also two swimming pools one was smaller for the kids, both so warm and clean, a small bar is there as well which you can enjoy your coffee or cocktail and very good food from the kitchen!The beach was 2 minutes walk from the hotel! This place have the best staff ever meet in my life, from the moment we arrived there they were so friendly nice and ready to help us with everything we need ,information about the island what to be careful were to go how to do it and a big thank you to all these wonderful people!! Amazing experience! High recommended!

The hotel itself is very small and intimate and the perfect hideaway from the sandy & busy streets of Zanzibar. The service was 12/10 - we had amazing conversations with the staff and strangers became friends very quickly. Everything was very clean and we couldn’t have wished for a better stay - we will come back for sure!

Beautiful boutique hotel! Very nice and professional service, prices for drinks and food lower than in Poland. Wojtek, the manager, is a very nice and helpful guy. We were two families with children and on the day of departure the children were crying that they did not want to come back. I sincerely recommend it!!!

If you’re looking to vacation in Zanzibar, I’d highly recommend Tamu Tamu boutique hotel!!

All the staff are beyond helpful and friendly, helping us with arranging taxis daily and answering any questions we had. They also moved us into a new room on our final day for a *very* late check out at no additional cost.

The room was serviced every morning and night before bed, the restaurant there serves delicious local and western food. The property itself is beautiful, the best part easily being Whiskey, the most friendly dog ever who you’ll find around the seating area of the restaurant morning and night and asleep by the pool during the day.

Not to mention it’s all reasonably priced too!!
